De Nigeriaans-Amerikaanse tiener Tunde Johnson wordt door de politie aan de kant gezet en doodgeschoten. Meteen daarna ontwaakt hij op diezelfde dag om zijn gruwelijk lot opnieuw te beleven. Terwijl hij in de tijdlus vastzit, wordt Tunde, die een geheime relatie met zijn vriendje Soren onderhoudt, met moeilijke waarheden over zichzelf en zijn leven geconfronteerd.
