Het is 1193 voor Christus. Paris, de prins van Troje, wordt verliefd op Helena, koningin van Sparta, en Helena gaat met hem mee naar Troje, zonder dat haar echtgenoot -koning Menelaos- dat weet. Dit zorgt er voor dat beide koninkrijken in oorlog met elkaar raken. Er vindt een bloedig slagveld plaats rond Troje. Achilles was de grootste held bij de Grieken, terwijl Hector, de oudste zoon van de koning van Troje, de hoop van de inwoners van zijn stad was.
Nee, helaas is Troy nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
