Een zestal Groene Baretten wordt na zeventien jaar Vietnamese krijgsgevangenschap vrijgelaten. In Europa krijgen de commando's een training om weer te wennen aan het vrije leven, maar daar ontdekken ze dat speciale agenten hun doen en laten in de smiezen houden.
