De zoon van oplichter Jake Galloway wordt ontvoerd. De kidnapper dwingt Jake, terwijl hij 's nachts door de straten van Sydney rijdt, steeds moeilijkere tests te doorstaan, anders wordt zijn zoon vermoord. De tests zijn tevens bedoeld als boetedoening voor Jakes oplichterspraktijken.
