De charmante Marissa is een alleenstaande moeder en werkt als kamermeisje in het meest chique hotel van Manhattan. Wanneer ze stiekem de kleren van een rijke gast past, wordt ze betrapt door de rijke politicus Chris Marshall. Hij denkt dat zij ook een gast is en als snel springt de vonk over. Marissa doet haar best de schijn op te houden maar naarmate de gevoelens sterker worden kan zij niets anders dan hem de waarheid vertellen... Is hun liefde bestand tegen de invloeden van de zo verschillende werelden?
