Nadat een drugsdeal verkeerd loopt en sommige corrupte agenten vermoord worden, moet de maffioso Joey (Paul Walker) de wapens, gebruikt tijdens het vuurgevecht, kwijt zien te raken. Dit wordt echter ingewikkeld wanneer de jonge zoon van zijn buurman het wapen van hem afpakt en het gebruikt om zijn vader neer te schieten. Zodra dit gebeurt moet Joey de hele nacht druk in de weer om de jongen te vinden, het vuurgevecht te verdoezelen en het wapen terug zien te krijgen, terwijl zijn eigen maten en de politie achter hem aanzitten.
Nee, helaas is Running Scared nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
