Publicist Darcy uit Kansas City solliciteert naar een baan bij de Emerald Education Trust. Ze wil vicepresident Glenn Goodman en zijn team bijstaan in het helpen van een goed doel in nood tijdens de kerstdagen. Terwijl ze samenwerken, beginnen Darcy en Glenn te beseffen dat ze alles met elkaar gemeen hebben.
