Doug Glatt is een uitsmijter, die door zijn familie van slimmeriken wordt uitgespuugd. Hij verbaast echter iedereen wanneer hij als leider van een team mislukte ijshockeyers succes behaalt en ze zelfs semi-professioneel kunnen gaan spelen.
