Wanneer Joan ontdekt dat haar zus bezeten is door een demonische entiteit, moet ze de hulp inroepen van de enige overgebleven priester die is opgeleid in exorcismen om haar te helpen het kwaad te overwinnen. Ze bevinden zich in een race tegen de klok om haar zus van de demon te verlossen voordat deze de wereld kan betreden en grote schade kan aanrichten.
