Sean Archer (Travolta) is een politieman die al jaren op Castor Troy (Cage) jaagt. Bij een confrontatie wordt Troy bijna fataal gewond en raakt in een coma. Archer komt erachter dat Troy ergens een bom heeft verstopt en alleen Troy en zijn broer (die in de gevangenis zit) weten waar. Archer laat een paar doctoren zijn gezicht verwisselen voor dat van Troy, zodat hij in de gevangenis kan infiltreren en de info van Troy's broer kan krijgen. Ondertussen ontwaakt de echte Troy uit zijn coma en neemt met het gezicht van Archer diens leven over. In een race tegen de klok moet Archer de bom zien te vinden en ondertussen Troy ervan weerhouden iedereen te vermoorden die van hun wisseltruc weet.
Nee, helaas is Face/Off nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
