Omschrijving In het West End van het Londen van de jaren 50 komen de plannen voor een filmversie van een groot successtuk abrupt tot stilstand nadat een cruciaal lid van de crew is vermoord. Wanneer de wereldvermoeide inspecteur Stoppard en de enthousiaste nieuweling Constable Stalker de zaak op zich nemen, worden de twee in een raadselachtige whodunit geworpen in de glamoureus smerige theater-underground, waarbij ze de mysterieuze moord op eigen risico onderzoeken.
