Journalist Tom Merrick (Casper Van Dien) ontdekt op foto's van grote rampen, bijvoorbeeld de Hindenburg en de Titanic, steeds dezelfde mysterieuze man. Zijn onderzoek leidt hem naar een groep tijdreizigers die voor de kick grote rampen bezoeken. Merrick probeert dan om toekomstige rampen te voorkomen, maar moet hierbij wel de consequenties onder ogen zien.
