AJ is een milieubewuste en sociaal onhandige tiener die niet gelukkig door het leven dartelt. Met tegenzin vergezelt ze haar familie naar een vakantiepark in Dorset. Daar ontmoet ze de vrijzinnige strandwacht Isla door wie ze gefascineerd geraakt. Kan zij het begin betekenen van AJ's geluk?
