Brendan is werkzaam als een tolbeambte in een klein dorpje en tevreden met zijn huidige eenzame leven. Hierin komt verandering wanneer iemand uit zijn criminele verleden weer aan zijn deur staat en een kettingreactie in gang zet. Intussen doet de lokale agente Catrin onderzoek naar een overval.
