Een nieuwe DJ wordt naar Vietnam overgeplaatst om wat humor toe te voegen aan de militaire radio aldaar. Hij wordt razend populair onder de soldaten, maar wordt toch uit de lucht gehaald. Terwijl hij uit de lucht is probeert hij Vietnamezen te ontmoeten, en dan vooral meisjes.
Nee, helaas is Good Morning, Vietnam nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
