Om zijn collegegeld te betalen, gaat de verlegen maar briljante Ben Campbell samen met een selecte groep topstudenten elk weekend naar Las Vegas. Het doel: hun kennis gebruiken om de uitkomsten van blackjack naar hun hand te zetten.
