De jonge advocate Tara Bhalla heeft net haar eerste zaak gewonnen als ze van haar vader, Harish, te horen krijgt dat haar moeder, Gayatri, is overleden. Tara's ouders leefden gelukkig in Chandigarh, totdat Gayatri een hartaanval kreeg. Tara en haar drie broers gaan naar de begrafenis, die geregeld wordt door hun traditiegetrouwe vader. Er ontstaan diverse ruzies vanwege verschillende redenen. Ze hebben allemaal echter geen keuze: voor een paar dagen zullen ze samen onder één dak moeten leven.
