Plot

Op zijn zoektocht naar het Wilde Westen komt een ambitieuze jonge westernschrijver terecht in het Hollywood van de jaren '30. Hij krijgt weliswaar een baantje als cowboyfigurant, maar komt al snel tot de teleurstellende conclusie dat de grote westernmythes het moeten afleggen tegen de banale praktijken binnen de filmwereld.
