Een Amerikaanse beveiligingsagent moet het schilderij 'Madonna met Kind' van Leonardo da Vinci bewaken, wanneer het wordt geëxposeerd in Groot-Brittannië. Nadat het schilderij is gearriveerd begint de agent al snel zijn twijfels te krijgen of het kunstwerk wel echt is.
