Charlie Bartlett wordt steeds van privéscholen afgeschopt en komt daarom op een openbare school terecht. Vanwege zijn psychiatrische consulten in het toilet aan de leerlingen van de school wordt hij uitermate populair. Hij kan het niet goed vinden met de alcoholische en impopulaire directeur van de school (Robert Downey Jr.), maar met zijn dochter klikt het daarentegen des te beter… Charlie Bartlett is een prettig gestoorde komedie vol waarheden en herkenning waar iedereen om kan lachen.
Nee, helaas is Charlie Bartlett nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
