Een sinister geheim is jaren verborgen gehouden door een verlaten kerk in Los Angeles. Door de dood van een priester van een mysterieuze sekte, neemt een andere priester een kijkje in de kelder van de kerk en ontdekt een vat met groene vloeistof. De priester vraagt een groep mensen om op onderzoek uit te gaan. Langzamerhand wordt duidelijk wat er in het vat zit.
