Fred en Barney zijn geslaagd voor hun eindexamen en zijn nu brontokraanbestuurders. Betty woont in Bedrock en is serveerster en Wilma is een rijk meisje. Haar moeder wil haar koppelen aan de rijke Chip Rockefeller, maar Wilma interesseert zich niet voor Chip. Tijdens een vrijgezellenfeestje verveelt ze zich zo, dat ze vertrekt om eens in Bedrock te gaan rondkijken. Ze gaat wat drinken en wordt bediend door Betty. De dames sluiten vriendschap en Wilma gaat bij Betty wonen. Wanneer Fred en Barney in een restaurant Betty en Wilma ontmoeten klikt het onmiddellijk.
