Z is een werkmier die zich maar onbelangrijk voelt tussen de duizenden andere mieren. Als hij de princes Bala ontmoet is hij gelijk verliefd. Hij ruilt van plaats met zijn vriend Weaver, een soldaat, om tijdens een parade Bala van dichtbij te kunnen zien. Helaas breekt net op dat moment oorlog uit, en moet Z als soldaat aan de slag. Hij groeit uit tot een held.
Nee, helaas is Antz nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
