Doug werkt als manager in een luxe hotel waar hij probeert alle gasten het zo goed mogelijk naar hun zin te laten hebben. Van zijn fooien probeert hij geld bijeen te zamelen om ooit zijn eigen droomhotel te kunnen bouwen. Maar zijn fooiengeld is nooit genoeg en wanneer hij uiteindelijk de perfecte sponsor heeft gevonden, blijkt deze een affaire te hebben met de vrouw van Doug's dromen. Doug moet kiezen: het geld of de liefde.
