Een buitenaardse plaag heeft het plattelandsstadje Wheelsy in zijn greep. Slijmerige wormen dringen de lichamen binnen van de bewoners, die prompt veranderen in bloeddorstige en vleesetende zombies en gigantisch gemuteerde monsters. Een klein groepje overlevenden, waaronder de sheriff, zijn ex-liefje, de burgemeester en een zestienjarig meisje, proberen de buitenaardse invasie te stoppen, maar dan moeten ze eerst het stadje ontvluchten.
Nee, helaas is Slither nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
