Na een gevangenisstraf te hebben uitgezeten, keert Sonny (Xander Berkeley) terug naar zijn huis in het oosten van Texas. Hij is vastbesloten om de relatie met zijn zoon te herstellen. Maar bij thuiskomt blijkt zijn broer zijn huis veranderd te hebben in een, langzaam afbrokkelend, methadonlaboratorium.
