Sam heeft samen met haar drie vrienden, Tara, Mindy en Chad, de aanvallen van Ghostface weten te overleven. Ze besluiten dan ook Woodsboro te verlaten om een geheel, nieuwe start te maken. Echter aangekomen in New York City blijkt Ghostface weer op te duiken.
