Wanneer zijn ouders vermoord worden door de slechte Thulsa Doom wordt Conan naar een slavenkamp gestuurd. Terwijl de jaren verstrijken wordt hij een krachtige man, en hij blijft vastberaden om de dood van zijn ouders te wreken. Hij ontdekt dat Thulsa Doom de leider is van een mysterieuze slangen-cult, en in zijn pogingen om hem te vinden maakt hij enkele krachtige vrienden en gevaarlijke vijanden.
