Een pandemie treft wereldwijd de watervoorziening. Jennifer is een vooraanstaande wetenschapper op zoek naar een medicijn. Om haar hoofd leeg te maken trekt ze zich met haar echtgenoot terug op het platteland. Tijdens hun verblijf vermoedt ze dat haar man dingen verbergt.
