De broers Butani, Will Ferell en Chris Kattan, schuimen de nachtclubs af in deze waanzinnige leuke komedie. Steve en Doug zijn niet cool genoeg om de Roxbury nachtclub in te komen. Maar als de beroemde Richard Grieco, hun held, letterlijk tegen hen opbotst, gaan alle deuren naar de wereld van de glamour, glitter en mooie vrouwen open.
