Na zijn overwinning tijdens de schaapsherderwedstrijd keert Babe als een held terug naar de boerderij. Hij volgt zijn geliefde baasje overal, maar in al zijn enthousiasme wordt Babe de oorzaak van een ongeluk dat boer Hoggett zwaar verwondt.
