Terwijl Emily de checklist afwerkt – bedoeld voor zelfheling en het herontdekken van de kerstsfeer – bouwt ze een band op met Noah, een lokale freelance schrijver die zich aangetrokken voelt tot haar verhaal. Elke activiteit brengt Emily dichter bij emotionele verzoening, nieuwe vriendschappen en het laatste punt op de lijst: vind de liefde.
