Als de liefhebbende vader van Danielle plots overlijdt, wordt zij door haar nieuwe stiefmoeder en -zussen gebruikt als hulpje. Toch groeit ze op tot een vrolijke vrouw met een sterke wil, en op een dag komt ze de knappe prins Henry tegen, die zelf echter ook problemen thuis heeft. Gelukkig is de aardige Leonardo da Vinci in de buurt om ze te helpen.
