Jess is een jonge vrouw die op wanhopige wijze haar kleine kuststad probeert te ontvluchten. Ze ontmoet de vreemdeling Ben, die Jess een romantische ontsnapping belooft. Terwijl het stel samen tijd doorbrengt op zijn jacht, leidt een verandering in de omstandigheden tot bedrog, wantrouwen en geweld.
