Op Halloween zullen Eric en Shelly gaan trouwen. Op de avond ervoor, Devil's Night, worden ze in hun huis door een bende aangevallen. Eric wordt neergeschoten en uit het raam gegooid; Shelly wordt verkracht en overlijdt later in het ziekenhuis.
