John Kimble is een harde politieagent,die al jaren achter drugshandelaar Cullen Crisps aanzit. Hij weet hem uiteindelijk te vinden, maar dan blijkt dat de enige persoon die kan getuigen tegen Crips zijn ex-vrouw is. Zijn ex-vrouw blijkt spoorloos te zijn en de enige aanwijzing is haar zoontje op een kleuterschool. Kimble besluit undercover te gaan op de kleuterschool, om het jongetje te beschermen tegen een moordenaar.
