Scholier Alex zit met zijn klas in een Boeing 747 te wachten op de start. Ineens voorziet Alex dat het toestel zal ontploffen. Hij raakt in paniek en wordt met een paar medeleerlingen en hun lerares het vliegtuig uitgezet. Enkele ogenblikken later zien ze vanaf de grond 'hun' toestel opstijgen en veranderen in een vuurbal. Kort daarna sterft één van de overlevenden.
