Cameron Vale is een zogenaamde scanner, hij beschikt over de bovenmenselijke kracht om andermans gedachten te lezen en te manipuleren. Wetenschapper en scanner deskundige Paul Ruth rekruteert Vale voor een speciale opdracht: de infiltratie in het scanner genootschap van Darryl Revok. Revok en zijn medestanders hebben één doel voor ogen: werelddominantie.
Nee, helaas is Scanners nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
