Thomas Beckett is een Amerikaanse soldaat die werkt in de Panama jungle. Zijn werk is om rebellen te zoeken en die uit te schakelen met behulp van zijn scherpschutters-vaardigheden. Beckett staat er bekend om bij dat soort missies zijn partners te verliezen. Deze keer wordt hij bijgestaan door Richard Miller, die meer het officierstype is.
