Peyton Westlake is een wetenschapper die een manier ontdekt om synthetische huid te produceren. Dit blijkt een revolutionaire uitvinding te zijn, maar het probleem is dat je de huid maar 100 minuten kan gebruiken en deze niet bloot gesteld mag worden aan licht. Als gangsters Peyton aanvallen, raakt zijn huid vreselijk verbrand. Peyton is uit op wraak en gaat voortaan door het leven als Darkman.
Nee, helaas is Darkman nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
