Op een dag bezoekt een vrouw genaamd Chiyome Hesogakure met een kind genaamd Chinzō de familie Nohara en beweert dat zij de echte moeder van Shinnosuke is en neemt hem mee naar een Ninja-dorp. In het Ninjadorp beschermt de familie Hesogakure 'de navel van de aarde' door deze af te sluiten met een puur gouden stop met behulp van de 'Mononoke-techniek' die van generatie op generatie is doorgegeven. Als het loskomt, zal de aarde verdorren, zal de rotatie stoppen en zal de 'morgen' van de wereld verloren gaan! Het is aan Shinnosuke om het mysterie van zijn geboorte te onthullen en de toekomst van de aarde en de 'morgen' van zijn familie te beschermen.
