Professor Phillip Brainard werkt met zijn assistent Weebo aan een goedje dat een nieuwe bron van energie is. Dit zal het Medfield College, waar zijn liefje Sara president is, redden van de ondergang. Hij heeft z'n bruiloft al tweemaal gemist, en op de middag van zijn derde poging creëert hij flubber, waarmee objecten kunnen vliegen.
Nee, helaas is Flubber nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
