De striptekenaar Brösel krijgt de opdracht om een tekenfilm te maken rond zijn personage Werner, maar hij heeft geen idee hoe hij dat moet aanpakken. Hij doet daarom maar geen moeite om een zinnig plot te bedenken en tekent gewoon wat willekeurige situaties uit Werners jeugd.
Nee, helaas is Werner - Beinhart! nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
