Een groep dierenliefhebbers gaat de strijd aan met een groep jagers, wat resulteert in de dood van een gorilla en de moeder van het meisje. Jaren later zijn zowel het meisje als de gigantische baby van de gorilla opgegroeid. De twee zijn goede vrienden, en wanneer een medewerker van een park haar overhaalt om de gorilla over te plaatsen stemt ze hier mee in.
