De schrik slaat de bewoners van Lake Placid om het hart wanneer het aangevreten lijk van een duiker aan de oevers van het meer wordt gevonden. Het gruwelijk verminkte lichaam vertoont sporen van een monsterlijk wezen, een fors uitgemeten tand markeert de beet waarmee de helft van het lichaam werd opgeslokt.
Nee, helaas is Lake Placid nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
