In het jaar 2144 groeit het mensenkind Sumi op bij een ijsbeer. Ze weten te ontsnappen aan wrede jagers van de Morad en ze banen zich een weg doorheen de brute natuur. Onderweg naar de Noordster Polaris stuiten ze op een bondgenoot in de vorm van een meisje.
Nee, helaas is Polaris nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
